Common questions
Which tape formats do you accept?
VHS, VHS-C (with adapter), Hi8, Video8, Digital8, MiniDV, and most standard camcorder tape formats. Reach out if you have something unusual — we'll let you know before you ship.
What does "private streaming site" actually mean?
Your own Netflix-style site, only accessible to family members you invite. They sign in with their email, click play. Works on phones, tablets, TVs, computers — no apps to download.
What if I stop paying the monthly fee later?
You always own your files. If you cancel hosting, we email you a download link for everything before the streaming site goes offline. You keep the MP4s forever.
How long does it take?
Typical turnaround is 3–4 weeks from when we receive your tapes. Rush service (2-week turnaround) is available for an extra $75.
